Wayne and Coleen Rooney arrive in Barbados surrounded by controversy
A tired and drawn Wayne Rooney and family arrived at their Barbados holiday home this week in controversy as reports state the holiday was booked two days before the England team lost to Germany and thrown out of the World Cup.
Arriving in Barbados, Coleen looked care free and excited while Wayne looked miserable- not the face of someone who is just about to start a holiday with their family!
Wayne’s management made a statement saying Wayne had made “contingency plans” allowing him to go abroad at different stages of the tournament. However, the first class tickets cost £5,923 so he would have been set to lose a substantial amount if England had gone through to the semi finals.
The Rooneys plans to spend time at their new holiday home, before enjoying a Caribbean cruise, and then a few days in Las Vegas – one of their favourite holiday destinations.
Wayne and Coleen’s whitewashed villa which is situated on the island’s 500-acre Royal Westmoreland development and is already home to some familiar celebrity faces. Ex-boxing champion Joe Calzaghe, Wayne’s team-mate Rio Ferdinand, Gary Lineker, cricketer Freddie Flintoff, and TV hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly all already own homes there.

What a waste of money- sureley it would be more feasable to just book a last minute ticket for Wayne. How awful!
absolute disgrace
