The Beckhams deny split rumours

Phew! Yesterday, we thought our lives were going to be changed forever with a Twitter post claiming that David and Victoria Beckham were about to announce their split.

Frank PR managing director Andrew Bloch posted this on the social networking site: “I am hearing from a number of sources that Victoria and David Beckham are due to announce their separation in a few hours.”

However,  the  couple’s publicists moved swiftly to deny the claims dismissing them as ‘nonsense’.

Simon Oliviera, David Beckham’s long-time publicist, then tweeted Bloch saying: “Didn’t know you were the new Perez Hilton. I think I would be aware of that, utter nonsense.

“Have a word with your sources.”

Bloch, who has since pointed out that his posting was personal, not work-related, later updated his Twitter page to say: “I have confirmation direct from Team Beckham that the separation rumour is “utter nonsense”. Very good news indeed.”

But the damage was already done, with several websites and blogs repeating the rumour.

Gosh! This was a really bad move from Andrew Bloch, he looks really silly now- unless the rumours are true that is!

Victoria Beckham dance judge

According to reports, Victoria Beckham is set to appear as a judge on a new talent show “So you think you can dance?”
The programme is already a massive success in the US and is now coming to BBC 1 on Saturday nights and apparently Victoria Beckham will be judging.

A source told the Daily Mail: “The plan is for her to judge in one or two shows. Victoria has only made a handful of appearances on British television so it would be a real coup.”

It’s thought Victoria would only commit to a few shows as she’s so focused on her fashion lines.

Victoria lands Gossip Girl role

Victoria Beckham has landed a role on the American popular series “Gossip Girl”. Victoria won the cameo role reportedly because the leading stars of the show Blake Lively and Leighton Meester have been hige fans of Victoria’s fashion line.

“Blake and co-star Leighton Meester are fans of Victoria’s designs, and have both worn her dresses,” a mole described the story to U.K.’s Mirror. “Blake attended the unveiling of Victoria’s new collection in New York last month, alongside the series’ stylist Eric Damen. The trio started chatting and Victoria revealed she was a huge fan of the show. From here, Blake pleaded with her to guest star in an episode and ran the idea past producers.”

Carol Vorderman wears Beckham

Carol Vorderman is taking advise from our queen WAG by stepping out in a Victoria Beckham dress.

The Victoria Beckham Ribart felt dress costs £1,180 and features a zip running from top to bottom down the back. Victoria’s dresses have been seen on many A-list celebs including Jenifer Lopez and Claudia Schiffer.

Victoria Beckham attended the Adidas Originals launch event last night alongside David Beckham.

The swanky party was held next to the Adidas store on Melrose Avenue and Victoria posed for the paparazzi in a v-cut strapless black dress with violet peep-toe heels however David looked far more casual making them look rather odd together!

'Skeletal' Victoria Beckham

Whilst Victoria Beckham is in London she is creating more headlines about her incredibly thin frame. Being labelled as ‘skeletal’ the mother of three looks more gaunt and fragile than she has in years.

However, Victoria seems unconcerned by her weight criticism as she is flaunted her thin frame in a bandeau-style bubble mini-dress and socialised with supermodels including Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer at a dinner hosted by the editor of British Vogue, Alexandra Shulman to celebrate 25 years of London Fashion Week.

However her UK rep has denied the reports stating the stories are “provocative and misleading”.
The rep added: “Victoria is a happy, healthy, fit, working mother of three children and for anyone to suggest otherwise is irresponsible and incorrect.”

Victoria Beckham is back in London, and is obviously loving it!

Victoria has flown back to the UK for London’s fashion week and has said: “It’s great to come back to where I’m from, I love coming here, I’m going to see my family, I’m going to dinner with my mum now, and you know what it’s great, it’s really really great.”

WAGS to ignore World Cup ban

Our favourite WAGS are ignoring England coach Fabio Capello’s ban on wives and girlfriend in the World Cup 2010 in South Africa and are already buying their tickets to support their footballing partners.

Capello has banned WAGS from the team’s World Cup headquarter in 2010 because he fears a repeat of their drunken frolics which resulted in England’s loss in 2006.

However, Coleen Rooney, Cheryl Cole, Alex Curran seem to be undeterred by Capello’s strict visiting rules, and plotting to jet to the matches from a luxurious 1,200-pounds-a-night base in Cape Town, The Mirror reports.

According to Lizzie Cundy, a presenter for Wedding TV’s Wags World, security issues were behind WAGS’ choice of Cape Town. “The girls want to be there to support their husbands and boyfriends. They will fly in when Fabio allows the players to have a day’s relaxation after games.”

Pop Idol judge Victoria

Victoria Beckham, who was just announced as a guest judge for the upcoming ninth season of “American Idol”, said she can’t wait to sit next to the former A&R guy who once rejected the Spice Girls, fellow Brit Simon Cowell.

“He is the only man in the music industry who turned down the Spice Girls and said we would never work,” Beckham told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show on Friday (August 7), just before she sat in on auditions in Denver. “I like that fact that he’s honest. I think he’s very funny.”

She added that she doesn’t know Cowell very well, but very much understands his attitude and sense of humor. “He has a very tongue-in-cheek British sense of humor, which I have too. I’m looking forward to a bit of banter,” she said. “I hope he does give me a little bit of a hard time. I love that. I feed off of that.”

“I want to be nice to people. I know how it feels to stand there and be judged, and how it can feel when nerves get the better of you. I don’t want to shatter anybody’s dream,” she said. “But at the same time, there’s nothing wrong with constructive criticism.”

As for replacing Abdul, even if it is for a brief amount of time, Beckham doesn’t feel bad about it, because she knows that soon enough the former judge will be great at whatever she does next. “I don’t. I’m a spiritual person, and I believe that you get back what you put out there, and I hope she does something that is bigger and better,” she said. “There’s something great for her around the corner, I’m sure.”

Beckham said she’s looking for an Idol with a “natural style.” “What I’m looking for [in an Idol winner] is a great singer and somebody who has that star quality,” she said. “It’s about the whole package.”
