Frank Lampard has been criticised by his ex WAG Elen Rivas for having no heart as he is reportedly threatening to evict Elen’s grandmother from her flat in Barcelona.

Elen, who is now dating Peter Andre has told her friends that Frank is evicting Teresa Canete from the Barcelona flat as he wants to put it up for sale.However, Frank has insisted that he offered to help Rivas take over the mortgage on the £290,000 property, but did not get a response, according to the Sun today.

Elen has accused Lampard, who she was engaged to and has two daughters with, of kicking out her grandmother and said the shock of the eviction could kill her.

Elen has said to friends how worried she is about her grandmother: “How can she survive this upheaval? She is an old lady. I can’t bear to tell her what’s going on.”

She said she begged the £150,000-a-week star to reconsider selling the apartment, which he bought when he was with Elen and Teresa has been there ever since.

Frank said he gave Elen the opportunity to buy the flat from him but friends said she cannot afford it.

A source close to Elen said: “She just cannot understand it. Teresa is 98 and nearing the end of her life.

“Elen is too scared to tell her so Teresa knows nothing about it yet. It could kill her – that flat is her home.”

Frank’s agent told the Star that the footballer had been ‘very generous’ allowing Teresa to stay there.

Sounds messy, but we can understand why Frank may not want to pay for Elen’s grandmother’s house although it is a bit mean to kick her out! What do you think?

christine bleakley talks babies

We were shocked this morning when we realised that Christine Bleakley and Frank Lampard have been dating for 18 months! It doesn’t feel like two minutes, so it makes sense that they are now starting to think about their future, which according to Christine, will include their own babies!

In a candid interview with She magazine, Christine reveals: “He’d [Frank] have babies in the morning.”

“He’s a brilliant daddy, he really is. It’s one of the things that attracted me to him.

“And so, yeah, I think he’d be very happy about it. I have another couple of years of getting up at 3 o’clock in the morning. But definitely would like to do it.”

Christine also admitted that she didn’t meet Frank’s daughter’s from ex-wife Elen Rivas until she knew that her relationship with Frank was serious. “I was honest with Frank at the beginning and said, “until you know and I know where we’re going, I’m not going to meet the girls” – that was for their benefit. I didn’t want to be someone who came and went in their lives.”

She adds: “Elen is a wonderful mum. I have yet to meet her but she’s produced these beautiful girls you could not be more proud of.”

Awww- it’s sweet to see it getting so serious between these two. Do you like them as a couple?

Christine Bleakley Daybreak

Graham Norton has branded Christine Bleakley “bonkers” for leaving The One Show to join ITV’s  breakfast show Daybreak.

Graham admitted that he understood why Adrian Chiles decided to leave after executives brought in Chris Evans to do the Friday show however he could not understand why Christine Bleakley had left.

“I can understand why Adrian Chiles did it, but Christine Bleakley – bonkers, ’ he said before adding that presenting The One Show was a “fantastic job”.

ITV’s Daybreak was launched to good ratings, however each week we hear reports that viewers are leaving the show. Rumours are that Christine is planning on leaving the show to take over from Dermot on the X Factor.

What do you think to Daybreak? We don’t mind it, there’s obvious changes they can make, but we hope they try instead of just giving up on it. We like waking up to Christine in the morning!

Kate Garraway defends Christine

We’ve always loved Kate Garraway and her recent comments have made us realise why. After losing out as main presenter on ITV’s Daybreak to Christine Bleakley, we wouldn’t have been shocked to see a little jealousy from Kate however she has come out fighting with support for Christine as she and fellow host Adrian Chiles face critisism for lack of ratings on the new show.

Speaking to New! magazine Kate, who is now Daybreak’s Entertainment Correspondent defended Christine by stating she is more than just a WAG! Kate said: “She was presenting on TV and had her own career and ambitions long before she even met Frank.”

Christine Bleakley Daybreak

It’s been an exciting week for Christine Bleakley as her new ITV morning TV show, Daybreak started on Monday with huge ratings seeing a million people tune in, which is 180,000 more viewers than GMTV had this time last year.

It seems like everyone is trying to knock the show, which is jointly presented by Christine and her old The One show, Adrian Chiles. First Eammon Holmes warned that although they have begun with great ratings, success definitely isn’t guaranteed.

Eamonn, who is now presenting on Sky News at the same time as Daybreak, said: “All this chemistry stuff is nonsense. It is not important at all.

“You just have to have a good programme and be a good presenter.

“Too much reliance is being put on this partnership stuff.

“It is a vibrant breakfast market at the moment.

Hopefully they will drop lots of GMTV viewers and we’ll gain them.”

Despite the ratings being considerably more than GMTV, Daybreak still failed to match their competition the BBC.  The BBC Breakfast hosts Bill Turnbull and Sian Williams had a maximum of 1.9 million and an average of 1.4 million during their BBC1 programme on Monday.

One senior BBC executive said: “Daybreak did OK but they had Tony Blair on and lots of advertising.

“On Monday Adrian and Christine’s old programme, The One Show, got 4.3 million so they clearly haven’t taken all of their audience with them.

“And BBC Breakfast is still the most popular show at that time of the morning.”

An ITV source said bosses were “delighted” with Daybreak’s ratings and hoped the show could eventually overtake BBC Breakfast.

Christine Bleakley new show

The heavily hyped and advertised new breakfast show, Daybreak launches tomorrow on ITV. Christine Bleakley has often said how she isn’t a morning person and hates early starts, so we wonder if she might regret her decision to move over to ITV to host the new show.

On the Daybreak website, Christine says: “Daybreak is a brand new experience for me. All the elements are in place, Adrian and I just have to make sure we can put them in order.  Not sure if I relish 3am wake up calls but I am sure Adrian’s jolly  demeanour will make it all the more enjoyable! I’m really excited and I can’t wait to get started.”

Good luck Christine, we are looking forward to watching (so long as we wake up on time!)

Christine Bleakley X Factor

According to reports, ITV are keen to get their monies worth with their £4million contract with Christine Bleakley as they are set to make Christine Bleakley the new face of the X Factor as the Saturday night show host, replacing Dermot O’Leary.

A senior television source told the Mail: “Dermot has made it clear that he would like to move to America full time. His girlfriend Dee Kopang is already working as a TV producer in Los Angeles, so he would like to try his luck in Hollywood. He is already spending the majority of his time out there with Dee, so it would make sense.”

Last night, a source close to O’Leary stressed: “Dermot loves the X Factor and has no plans to leave. If he did get the X Factor USA job, he would travel between London and LA, just like Simon Cowell, who will appear on both versions.”

The Daily Mail have said that Christine ‘looks set to quit her new ‘Daybreak’ show and sign up as new X Factor host’ however we can’t see her quitting the show before she has even started. Christine left her £90,000-a-year job with the BBC to move to ITV with former co-host Adrian Chiles for the revamped ITV breakfast programme ‘Daybreak’ launching on September 6.

Sources close to Christine have issued their concerns though wondering how Christine will cope with the early mornings: “No one is sure how Christine will cope with the 3.30am wake-up call for very long. Everyone’s smart money is on Adrian and Christine hosting for up to a year before moving on.”

These aren’t the first X Factor rumours we’ve heard about Christine as earlier in the year she was hinted at being the new ITV2 Xtra Factor presenter, however this job went to Konnie Huq. A source said at the time: “Christine was never going to host The Xtra Factor, but she has always been a fan of the show.”

Christine Bleakley finished on BBC

Chrisitne Bleakley’s departure from the BBC has been messy and very public, so we aren’t surprised that the BBC have had enough and told Christine she will not be returning to work her notice on The One Show once she has finished her holidays with Frank Lampard.

Christine’s contract should have seen her working until September however the BBC have made the following statement: “Following the BBC’s decision to withdraw its offer of an extended contract to Christine Bleakley, we have agreed she will not be returning to The One Show.”

It seems to us that the BBC are a little bit sensitive! We don’t expect to see Christine on the BBC again any time soon.

Christine Bleakley upsets Eamonn

Oh dear! You’d have thought that now Christine Bleakley is joining ITV she would be trying to make an effort to fit in with her new ITV presenters, however Christine has now upset ITV veteran, Eamonn Holmes.

Eamonn and partner Ruth Langsford were married last week, however Christine chose to miss the wedding as she was on holiday with Frank. According to a source at the wedding, Eamonn was ‘spitting ­feathers’ at her rudeness in not informing them she was unable to attend.

Come on Eamonn, you can’t blame her for choosing a holiday over your wedding! We didn’t even know you were friends!

Christine is reportedly “utterly mortified” that Eamonn is so upset with her. She says she thought she had informed the person who passed on the invitation to her in good time that she could not attend.

A source told the Daily Mail: “As soon as she heard about the ­miscommunication on holiday, she personally apologised to them and checked her wedding present was safely en route.”

Eamonn, who once occupied the GMTV sofa, played the matter down yesterday by saying: “How do you know she was even invited in the first place?”

Frank to propose to Christine

We aren’t sure why so many footballer’s rush into love with their WAGS but we definitely do not want them to stop!  Friends of Frank Lampard are whispering that they believe Frank is planning on proposing to new girlfriend, Christine Bleakley within the next six weeks- wowza!

Frank and Christine have been dating for the past eight months however have only been public with their affection this week as we saw them kiss for the first time whilst on holiday in Sardinia. The two have been flaunting their love ever since and from the looks of it, are having a holiday of a lifetime!

Christine has obviously made a fantastic impression on Frank’s family as his dad loves Frank’s new choice in girl. One source told the Daily Mail: “Frank has told his closest friends that Christine is absolutely the girl for him.

“The thing that has clinched it for him is that his dad, Frank Snr, loves Christine and has told Frank that his beloved mum Pat, who died two years ago, would have loved her too.

“All bets are on that they will be engaged by the start of the football season, which kicks off properly in the second week of August.”

Are we the only ones starting to get a little jealous of Christine Bleakley!?!
