Alex Curran joined in the fun as Justin Bieber Fever hit Liverpool and took her daughters along to with thousands of screaming teenage girls to worshipped the Canadian heartthrob. Alex looked pleased to be on a girls’ night out a the Echo Arena Liverpool with her daughters Lilly-Ella, seven, and Lexie, four.

Alex’s girls wore matching purple ‘I love JB’ jumpers, grey jeans and pink Converse trainers but Alex  skipped-out on the Bieber-mania merchandise opting instead for a burgundy blazer over velvet and lace leggings and black ankle socks.

We didn’t need an award to tell us that Alex Curran was one of the most stylish women in Liverpool, however this just cements the fact. Last week Alex Curran won the Most Stylish Scouser award at the Liverpool Style Awards, whilst hubby Steven Gerrard won the Icon Award at the glitzy Juice FM ceremony.

Some 300 guests arrived at Liverpool Cathedral on Saturday night to celebrate the best in the city’s music, fashion, culture, sport and style. They were greeted by the sound of the cathedral bells before a champagne reception, three course meal and a Cricket fashion show.

Alex was presented with her glass trophy by Cricket owner Justine Mills alongside The Saturdays. Speaking in her OK! Magazine column, Alex gushed: “Last week I went to the Juice FM Style Awards and won the Most Stylish Scouser! I was really chuffed but I was so nervous going up to collect it, I’m terrible at things like that.”

We love Alex Curran so feel a little bad for laughing, but it does seem like every week she is chasing back to her £140,000 Aston Martin car to stop it from getting a ticket!

Unlike most people, Alex doesn’t park in car parks, she chooses to chance it and park on the road while keeping an eye out for traffic wardens. Alex visits the Neighbourhood café in South Liverpool weekly to catch up with friends and every time, she leaves her car right outside the café on double yellow lines knowing that if she sees a traffic warden she can run out and due to Liverpool’s parking rules, she has 5 minutes from when the warden arrives at the car to move it.

Spotting a traffic warden approaching her car, Alex sprints out of the café and gives the warden a killer smile while asking: “Am I too late?” This time, the warden let her off the £60 fine.

Liverpool City Council today denied that blonde hair, beautiful looks and a winning smile was anything to do with avoiding a parking fine.

A spokesman said: “If she moved the vehicle in time that is fine. Our priority is not to give people tickets but to make sure illegally parked cars are moved as soon as possible to keep the streets clear and keep traffic moving.”

Alex Curran had to face the difficult subject of Abigail Clancy in her OK! Magazine column this week andwe think she handled it fantastically by simply saying: “I was so sad to read the stories about Peter Crouch and Abigail Clancy. It must have been awful, I hope she’s okay. I’ve heard that she’s gone to Majorca with her mum – that’s probably the best thing she can do at the moment, to get away and be with her family.”

Alex also commented on her outfit choice last week which we featured on our fashion website, WAGS World Style. We loved the look and told you how you can achieve however it seems that not everyone were so complimentary as Alex defended herself by saying: “I got some stick last week for wearing a pair of Style Stalker leggings with holes in the knee but I like them! They’re so comfortable and look different. I wore them with my new Converse and I’ve hardly worn heels since I got them – they’re so comfortable but still look good.”

Alex Curran in Liverpool

Alex and Steven Gerrard have returned to Liverpool after their holiday in Ibiza and obviously Alex was keen to show off her holiday tan. Alex went out for dinner with friends in Liverpool last night looking tanned and refreshed.

Holding on to a studded brown clutch bag, Alex looked like she didn’t have a care in the world as she left Italian restaurant San Carlo in the heart of the city.

Rumours of a split between Alex and Steven seem to be complete tosh as we have seen them enjoy their family holiday together last week with a group of friends including Steven’s teammate, Jamie Carragher.

Alex Curran and Steven Gerrard are proving the internet rumours about the state of their marriage are nonsense by looking incredibly happy whilst on holiday in Ibiza with their two daughters and mutual friends.

Having been on a special diet and exercise programme for the past few months Alex looked toned and tanned in a skimpy black bikini before changing into a white short dress to board a chartered 17-metre Nautichic Pearl, 55 which costs from 1,500 Euros a day to rent for an afternoon cruise.

Alex wrote in her OK! column: “I was trying to go to the gym as much as possible before the break to get in shape for the beach but I still feel a bit wobbly, which I’m devastated about.

“Although as soon as we arrived, we relaxed and started pigging out! We’ve had a few barbecues and we’ve been out for a few meals.”

We are really glad the Gerrard’s look happy! We don’t want to lose our uber WAG!

We’ve all heard the rumours about the state of Alex and Steven Gerrard’s marriage but we have tried to ignore them, although secretly thought to ourselves that there is no smoke without fire.

We’ve heard everything from Alex Curran’s supposed affair with a Derby County footballer to Steven Gerrard’s affair with a 16 year old and finally the rumour that Steven has gotten Alex’s younger sister pregnant.

The rumours have also been blamed for England’s poor performance in the World Cup because of tension between John Terry and Steven Gerrard due to Terry being angry that he lost his captaincy due to cheating on his wife however Steven being named captain of the team even though he had gotten Alex’s sister pregnant.

However ALL of these rumours have been dismissed as “rubbish” by insiders and the fact that Alex Curran doesn’t even have a sister should lay these lies to rest. Rumours also stated that there was an injunction to stop the News of the World printing these stories, however Gerrard’s lawyer has confirmed that there has been no attempt to secure an injunction.

Gosh! How dramatic, well only time will tell! We are keeping an eye out for the Sunday paper’s tomorrow, however have always hoped and believed these stories are fake. Why would Alex go for a Derby County player when she has Steven Gerrard? Surely that’s like having a Little Chef hamburger when you have a steak at home (no offence Little Chef)?!

Glen Johnsons WAG

It seems the WAGS are starting to fight against Fabio Capello by sneaking to the World Cup in South Africa to watch their men play for their country.

We caught Glen Johnson’s wife, Laura taking her little baby daughter to watch her daddy play against Algeria, although after their performance, she probably wishes she hadn’t bothered as England failed to score.

However, Laura isn’t the first WAG to go against manager Capello’s WAG ban as Emil Heskey’s girlfriend Chantelle Tagoe didn’t waste any time jetting to South Africa before the tournament had even began, flying with Heskey’s parents.

WAGS who have stayed at home include Alex Curran and Colleen Rooney, however we are sure the England players missed their wives last night as they performed badly and even got bored by their own fans. Wayne hit out and complained: “Nice to see your own fans booing you,’ a furious Rooney could be heard to say. That’s what loyal support is.”

We are sure England can play better- but at least the WAGS aren’t getting the blame for their poor performance this year!
