Queen tells Kate Middleton she isn’t welcome at Christmas

Kate Middleton was looking forward to spending Christmas with the Royals this year alongside William, however reports are saying that the Queen has told Kate that only family are allowed this year at Sandringham.
According to the People, Kate is “sad and disappointed” at the Queen’s decision as she has been allowed to attend the festivities for the past three years.
Chelsy Davy and Zara Phillips’ rugby player boyfriend Mike Tindall have also been told they are not invited, which has surprised them all.A Royal insider confirmed: “Outsiders, even those as close as Kate and Chelsy are to the two Princes, haven’t had an invite this year. That’s the way it is. Kate just has to lump it.”
A source explained: “That’s the way the Queen likes it, just close family. It gives them a chance to catch up with each other. It’s one of the very few times in the year when they can all get together. The only person who issues invitations is HM – and she has chosen not to do so.
“But Kate is due to meet up with William when Christmas is over.”
Kate has never spent Christmas with the royals, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise to her. Girl/boyfriends are not invited to the BRF’s Christmas day.
