Coleen Rooney isn’t impressed with WAG status

We aren’t sure why so many WAGS complain about being called a WAG but Coleen Rooney is the latest one to try and shake the WAG label which made her so famous!
Coleen has confirmed she will fly out for the World Cup if England makes it to the finals, however a source close to Coleen has told Now magazine that Coleen agrees with Fabio Capello that the wives and girlfriends could be a distraction to the players in the England squad.
The insider said: “Coleen is hugely proud of Wayne, but she respects that he has a job to do in South Africa.
“The last thing she wants is to distract him.
“She’s grown up a heck of a lot in the past four years and her priorities have changed.
“She was just a kid then; now she’s happily married with seven-month-old Kai to look after”
The source also revealed that Coleen would like to shed the WAG tag.
They added: “She spends all her time with friends she’s had since she was 15.
“Friends and family mean everything. To call her a WAG these days is unfair as she’s deliberately stepped back from the spotlight.
“She’s been offered contracts worth millions in the past year, but has turned them down to give 100 per cent commitment to Kai. No one knows when, or even if, she’ll go back to work properly.”
Being a WAG is what made Coleen famous. I’m not saying there is anything wrong with that, but she shouldn’t slag it off. I wouldn’t be proud of the title either, but with all the dosh she is earning off it, she should be grateful.
