Coleen Rooney celebrates World Cup match and second wedding anniversary with friends
Proud WAG, Coleen Rooney organised a garden party with her parents to watch yesterday’s World Cup match, and from the looks of things, had a great time!
The sun was beaming down for Coleen and 30 of her family and friends who enjoyed the match on a plasma screen TV, danced to a cheesy mobile disco, ate barbecued sausages and burgers and of course, no football party would be the same without a couple of crates of beer.
A marquee was delivered to the Merseyside home on Friday afternoon and the family didn’t dip too heavily into the Rooney millions by apparently shopping for food and beer at the budget supermarket Costco.
However, they didn‘t do everything on a budget as they organised professionals to cook the food on the BBQ. A friend told the Mail on Sunday: “Wayne usually does the barbecuing but seeing as he was otherwise engaged, they decided to make life easy and get some help.
“They watched it like everyone else in the country- while enjoying a few beers and some sausages and hamburgers on the barbecue.”
To make the celebrations even more fun, there were even some look-a-likes of England managers Sven Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello, to help make Coleen feel like she really was in South Africa.
This is a special weekend for Wayne and Coleen as it is their second wedding anniversary, so it’s nice to see that Coleen still had a fantastic night even though she was thousands of miles away from Wane.
A friend of Coleen’s said: “Wayne made sure he got her on the phone first thing on Saturday to wish her a very happy anniversary,’ said a friend of the couple. They will celebrate when Wayne gets back.
“They are both hoping that it will be an even bigger celebration and Wayne will be coming home with the cup.”
