Christine Bleakley conquers challenge

Congratulations Christine Bleakley who succeeded in the incredible task of water-skiing across the English Channel for Sports Relief.

Braving strong winds and choppy waters the task wasn’t easy for Frank Lampard’s new WAG Christine, however she made it from shore to shore in one hour and 40 minutes travelling 21 miles from Dover to Calais.

The event was almost called off because of the weather. A Sports Relief spokeswoman described the morning’s conditions to The Daily Mail as being “so choppy” that they were not sure Bleakley would make it.
