Cheryl Cole wows the WAGS World Cup team at Manchester gig
Soon to be ex-WAG Cheryl Cole was in dazzling form while supporting the Black Eyed Peas this week – and the lucky (and ridiculously excited) Wags World Cup team was there to support her!
The geordie stunner, who announced her decision to divorce love rat Ashley Cole earlier in the week, gave a winning performance at the Manchester Evening News Arena on Monday night, in front of thousands of screaming fans – including us! Any problems in her private life seemed a million miles away as she strutted her stuff, owned the stage and had the crowd on their feet.
Cheryl wowed the crowds with impressive performances from her ‘3Words’ album and some seriously energetic dance routines. Her fans were particularly pleased with her renditions of ‘3Words,’ ‘Fight For This Love’ and ‘Parachute,’ but some of her lesser known tracks were also very well received. While Cheryl was amazing, we have to say that she was surpassed by the incredible Black Eyed Peas who blew the roof off the building, while Fergie was in top form and had the male members of the audience in the palm of her hand! With rumours of a relationship between Chezza and Will.I.Am circulating in the press, they looked very comfortable together and even sang a great duet at one point.
Meanwhile, Wags World Cup favourite Coleen Rooney had the difficult choice of supporting her husband Wayne in his friendly international for England against Mexico, or supporting her fellow WAG – of course Cheryl won! New mother Coleen, 24, ditched her WAG duties and headed out to see her friend at the MEN Arena in a two-tiered white dress.
The Black Eyed Peas finished the night with a perfect rendition of ‘I gotta feeling’ and you know what? It definitely was! We were lucky enough to snap some great pics and we hope that you enjoy them!
