Cheryl Cole kicks off X-Factor auditions in Glasgow

How does Cheryl Cole do it? Last night she was winning Woman of the Year at the Glamour Awards in London and today she was kicking off the first round of the X factor auditions sat next to Geri Halliwell, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh in Glasgow.
If Cheryl was tired or hungover, she didn’t show it as she looked amazing in a leopard-print dress and £1,035 pair of Christian Louboutin platform sandals and wowed the crowds.
However, did she wow Geri Halliwell? Geri was a judge on Popstars- the rivals which is the programme that brought Cheryl Cole fame. Afterwards Geri said: “I’m so proud of Cheryl Cole. I really fought hard to put her through. I love that I opened that little window of opportunity for her and now she’s run with it.”
However, Cole hasn’t been so complimentary in response. During her first year as an X Factor judge, she complained too many contestants were telling her they wanted to be as successful at the Spice Girls.
Cheryl moaned: “We’ve been around for six years – they were around for 18 months.
“We recognise what the Spice Girls did, but it really annoys me when you meet girls who go: “We wannabe the next Spice Girls.”
Oh dear- hopefully Geri has thick skin!
