Ashley Cole at premier for film he co-produced

Last night in London’s Leicester Square Ashley Cole and Rio Ferdinand celebrated their first foray into the film world. The Manchester United and Chelsea players helped to finance the movie titled Dead Man Running and are credited as executive producers. Dead Man Running is a crime thriller starring Tamer Hassan, Danny Dyer and 50 Cent.
Rio admitted he did not think he would ever be involved in a film. He said: “I used to write my name on film posters in my bedroom. When this opportunity came my way, fortunately it ticked all the boxes.”
Ashley added: “I don’t think it’s about me or Rio, it’s about the actors who put their hard work into it. So hopefully people can enjoy it.”
Unfortunately, Cheryl Cole wasn’t there to support husband Ashley Cole, however Ashley did say he would be celebrating at the weekend with Cheryl if her new single makes it to number one.
